My Story

I have always had a passion for art since my early childhood days, admiring the beautiful oil paintings my grandmother created and displayed in our family home. This inspiration led me to pursue a path as an artist in various capacities. Beginning in 1998, I worked with children as a summer camp counselor, promoting the small Christian college I attended in Tampa, Florida. Later, I took on the role of Student Tour Coordinator and Docent trainer at the Tyler Museum of Art, organizing educational tours for schools in East Texas to explore art exhibitions. Through these tours, students gained insights into artists, mediums, and techniques before engaging in hands-on art activities in our studio. Drawing from my nonprofit experience, I authored and illustrated children's books, reflecting my journey. After dedicating 12 years to a homeschool co-op, I embarked on a new chapter by establishing my own art studio. My aspiration is to foster a community that embraces art while nurturing relationships.
