Step into a slower rhythm and spend a little time creating—Open Studio is happening today at The Art Parlor.
Our doors are open from 10am to 3pm, with the last walk-ins welcomed before 2:30pm. At 3pm sharp, we’ll be tidying up the studio in preparation for the evening’s classes. To keep the space focused and comfortable for our painters, we aren’t able to accommodate observers.
Open Studio is meant to feel easy and unhurried—a chance to settle in with your thoughts, or share a table with friends and family while you paint at your own pace. We’ve gathered a selection of self-guided instructions to help you craft your own small canvas keepsake, with the option to size up to a 16x20 for an additional $10.
If you’ve got a bit of experience—or simply a curious spirit—you’re welcome to follow your inspiration and paint whatever calls to you. While step-by-step guidance is reserved for select pieces, you’ll have full access to our paints, brushes, and studio materials. Just note, this is an independent session without an instructor on hand.
There’s something here for everyone, from young first-timers to seasoned creatives. All ages are welcome, though guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
