Summer Teen Art Club

Give your child a summer of creative growth — not just another camp, but an Art Club designed for kids ready to take their skills to the next level.

What it is

  • A multi-week summer Art Club that goes deeper than standard art camp. Ideal for ages 8–14 who already love making art and want to explore more challenging techniques, personal style, and artistic confidence.

  • Small, focused groups meet weekly in our beautiful 1,600 sq. ft. studio — plenty of space to work and display projects.

  • All mediums welcome: drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, sculpture, mixed media, and digital art. Projects rotate so students discover new tools and refine favorite techniques.

Why it’s different

  • Skill-forward curriculum: technique-building lessons (composition, perspective, color theory, texture, and three-dimensional form) paired with open-ended projects that encourage experimentation.

  • Process over perfection: instructors guide problem-solving, risk-taking, and creative decision-making so kids learn to trust their ideas and finish strong.

  • Project depth: multi-session works and series projects let students develop concepts, revise work, and see growth across the summer — not just one-off crafts.

  • Portfolio-friendly outcomes: completed pieces suitable for display, gifts, or inclusion in a beginner portfolio for advancing young artists.

What kids get

  • Hands-on instruction from experienced, encouraging teachers who adapt to each child’s pace.

  • Opportunity to explore materials they might not see elsewhere — print press demos, plaster armatures, clay building, mixed-media transfers, and digital sketching tools.

  • Confidence-building through constructive critique, group sharing, and mini-exhibitions where students present their work.

  • A collaborative, respectful studio culture that celebrates curiosity, independence, and creative risk.

Logistics at a glance

  • Weekly sessions

  • Small class sizes to ensure individualized attention.

  • Materials provided; students should bring a sketchbook and wear clothes that can get messy.

  • Convenient studio location with drop-off/pick-up and flexible scheduling for busy families.

Who this is for

  • Kids who already love art and want more challenge and variety than a typical day camp.

  • Parents who value skill development, confidence, and meaningful creative experiences.

  • Young artists who benefit from ongoing projects and mentorship rather than brief, one-time crafts.

Enroll now to reserve your child’s spot — space is limited to keep groups small and focused. Give them a summer where they’ll learn new techniques, grow as an artist, and leave the season with proud, finished work and real creative confidence.
